19/02 Wednesday. Class 13

Hello
Today we´ve been practising different expressions related to shopping and at the shops. We´ve learnt some useful phrases:
Can I have ..., please?
I´d like ... .
Where can I find ...?
I´m searching for/looking for ... .
Can I help you?
Would you like anything else? etc.

We practised them in different shopping situations. Watch the videos and practise saying the phrases:
Video "Shopping for clothes"
Video "At the Supermarket"

Also today we´ve started a new grammar point "Future" expressed by "will" and "be going to".
We use "will" future in:
- on-the-spot decisions/unplanned: Are you hungry? I´ll get you some sandwiches.
- predictions based on what we think/believe: I´m sure tomorrow it´ll rain.
- polite requests: Will you close the door, please?
- voluntary actions/offering support: I´ll carry your bags for you.
- promise/threat: I promise I´ll come tomorrow earlier.

We use "be going to" future in:
- plans/intentions: We´re going to the beach on the weekend.
- predictions based on what we know/see or evidences: There are black clouds, it´s going to rain.

Watch a short video with explanations - "Future Simple vs Going to".

Your homework is to do some grammar exercises related to Future.

P.S. What are you going to do this weekend?
