21-23/04 Monday-Wednesday. Classes 5-6

Hello

These classes we were talking about Treatment for different diseases:
to take a painkiller, medicine, aspirin, pills
to drink herbal tea, cough syrup
to put a bandage, arm sling, plaster cast
to use crutches, a syringe

We also learnt a structure with relative clause "when":
When I have a cold, I drink herbal tea and take aspirin.
When I have a broken leg, I use the crutches.
When I cut my finger, I use a plaster.

We learnt as well some new grammar - zero and first Conditional:
If people eat too much they get fat. (zero conditional) - general truth, no changes

The week before vacations we´ve been practising new vocabulary on the topic "Health" (cough, flu, cold, measles, bruise etc.).

02/04 Wednesday. Class 2

Hello!
Hey, on Wednesday there were only two students present! What happened? Hope nothing serious and next week everybody shows up!

So, as there were very few people we were mostly revising our grammar and were doing a lot of grammar exercises - Past Simple,  Past Continuous and Past Perfect.

Hello

Today we´ve been talking about your common mistakes:

1. plural/singular of some nouns:
There are a lot of people.
This furniture is modern.
My homework is easy.

2. the place of adjectives in the sentence:
She has brown eyes.
He´s wearing a red shirt.

3. the word order in questions:
Where´re you going?
What did you say?

4.  the use of some tenses:
She usually doesn´t work on Monday.
I´m wearing blue jeans.
