Unfortunately, there was only half of the group in the class. If it was for football, it´s absolutely unforgivable!
So, generally, we practised a lot the use of some/any, much/many/a lot of and (a) little/few:
There´s some milk in the fridge. (affirmative)
Would you like some water? (suggestion)
Can you give me some apples, please? (request)
There isn´t much/little juice left. (negative and uncountable)
How many potatoes do you need? - A few. (question and countable)
There is a lot of cheese in the supermarket. (affirmative and uncountable)
Check the previous page of the blog to practise this grammar. Also watch a grammar video "Countable and Uncountable Nouns" and do the exercises online.
Also we watched a video "Food in Britain" (you can watch it again) and talked about typical British food and new tendencies.
What is your favourite food? Watch a video and write down the answers, repeat the expressions after the speakers.
Your homework is to do exercises in your copies "Food containers" and "In the kitchen"(for those who were absent I´ll upload these copies in Aula Virtual).
